I am still dreaming about the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
We went to see the special quilt exhibit they were hosting, Quilts 1700 - 2010. But the Victoria and Albert Museum has so much more... I must go back. Next time, I think I'll book a room next door, and just go to the V&A every day for, like, a month.
Incroyable. Formidable. Holy wow.
No photography was allowed in the quilt exhibit, I'm afraid, so you'll just have to go and see it for yourself. If you wish, I would be delighted to take you there, and to serve as your personal guide.
Seriously. I'll take any pretext of an excuse to go back to London at this point. I'm all packed and ready.

One of the things I truly love about London is how littered it is with graffiti. I'm talking about the royal graffiti, now. The little love notes Victoria and Albert left each other all. Over. Town.
Everywhere you look, you see little intertwined initials.
Victoria hearts Albert. Albert hearts Victoria.

The cafeteria in the V&A is no joke. Naturally, you can get your fill of tea, coffee, scones, cakes, and all manner of other delicious things. And believe me, we did.

Before leaving, I took one long, last look around the courtyard, breathing in the smells and sounds of just another Sunday afternoon in London:
