So I gave my much-anticipated (by me, at least) presentation this morning on Web 2.0 for Nonprofit Communications, and I'm really pleased with the feedback I've gotten. I only covered blogging, photosharing, and social networking, and only in the briefest of brief surveys, because I only had about 15 minutes to speak.

unforeseen consequences of OpenSocial
I was slightly stunned this morning to have coffee with a friend who, when I mentioned the Google announcement about OpenSocial, hadn't heard about it. Sometimes I forget that not everyone has the same feed reader as I do - I still sometimes think it's like the New York Times, a shared experience.
